Born in 1943 to the late Charles and Mae (Anderson) Scott, Don attended Barker’s Grove Country School and graduated from Greenwich Central School in 1961. He served the Town of Easton as a Councilman for over 20 years and chaired the Easton Republican Committee for a time. He also held various positions on the Board of the Easton Rural Cemetery.
Don’s interests included Lincoln Town Cars, hunting, Saturday night dinners with Larry Ashcroft, and outings to LT’s with Stanley LeBarron. He was “Baba” to Gavin and Lincoln and cherished making pancakes with them nearly every morning.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Scott; grandson, Gregory Scott; granddaughter, Lezzette Hughes (Matt Baker); and great-grandchildren Gavin, Lincoln, and Ava Scott. Also surviving are Chris Weir, whom he considered a second son; sisters Barbara Gaige, Leona Brownell, brother-in-law Wes Brownell, sister-in-law Carol (Charles) Roosa and brother-on-law Frederick Field, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins who were dear to him.
